Desert Canyon Golf Club provides a full service practice facility that includes a driving range, two chipping and putting greens along with a practice bunker. This eighteen hole championship course is one of Arizona's top golfing facilities. It features elevated tees coupled with a variety of elevation changes. Fairways, though open, play tight and prove challenging with strategically placed doglegs.

Desert Canyon holds a special spot among our three star courses. Located just a few minutes away from downtown Fountain hills you be greeted by, stunning mountain views, lush fairways and greens, and homes of exquisite presence. Don't worry too much about the homes though, as most if not all are elevated and out of the way from the fairways. The course comes equipped with a practice facility including a driving range, chipping area, practice bunker, and putting greens. Playing Desert Canyon will be a great play even for less experienced players, as even though the course provides some interesting and tricky holes; you will be greeted with nice open fairways with a low amount of bunkers. The front nine is all but open with only one dogleg on hole 4, and a tricky elevated par 3 on hole 2. The back nine is a different story entirely, on this half the course you will find more elevation changes, dog legs, and trees blocking your path. Although it is a little more difficult on this half, you do not need to worry about playing target golf as the fairways are still widely open. Hole 10 offers a beautiful view of the mountains that is second to none in our 3 star category. The most interesting hole of the course comes on hole 16 with a massive elevated shot down with the pin located tightly between two massive bunkers. After all is said and done with your round stop by Desert Canyon's bar and grill and find great food at a low price! Walk around the quaint, but nicely put together golf shop and enjoy the memories you've made playing one of the premier courses in the Fountain Hills region of Phoenix!
