Rancho Manana, a hidden gem in the mountains! Wow, does this course standout! If it is your first time to Arizona, and playing desert golf, this is a must play course! Located in the Cave Creek area, this course is truly one of a kind. At Rancho, you will find an innovative design as soon as you pull into the parking lot; with a beautiful landscaping and architecture of the golf shop and surrounding buildings. Rancho Manana houses your standard facilities on a golf course; golf shop, driving range, putting green, and chipping area, along with a snack bar and restaurant. Rancho Manana's front nine plays as a true desert style golf course. Although shorter than most courses in the Phoenix Valley, this course does not hold back on stunning course design and over all beauty. Hole number 4 is easily the most difficult and interesting hole on the entire course, being an elevated par 4 with a massive dogleg that leads to another elevated shot up the fairway towards the green. Hole 7 provides a gorgeous view of the entire valley, looking over the some famous mountains that litter the surrounding Phoenix and Scottsdale area, including Black Mountain, and Camelback Mountain. The back nine is much longer than the front, playing more of a resort style. There are a few beautiful homes located along the sides of holes 10,12, and 18 all of which are long par 5's.
