Eagle Mountain golf club in Fountain Hills truly is a gem in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The elevation is spectacular giving you views of Camelback mountain, Four Peaks, and Red Mountain. Not only that, but the play-ability is spot on. Posing just the right amount of challenge off the tee, it makes up for it with inward slanted rough areas allowing errand tee shots to make it back into the fairway. Perfect set up for an upgraded option that will not have you leaving defeated. In our opinion easier than Sunridge and We Ko Pa but will test your mental game on so many shots into the green. Scott Miller did an amazing job of utilizing the natural landscape to create many illusions of safe landing areas into the green but do not be fooled the complexes of the greens can get pretty tricky. After your round, stop in to the very laid back Grille at Eagle mountain. With panoramic views of the Valley to enjoy some good eats and drinks.
