CANYON (9 HOLES): The Canyon nine, carved from former hunting grounds where deer blinds remain nailed to the hardwood, is a thrilling stretch of target-style golf. LOBLOLLY (9 HOLES): The Loblolly nine, with its gently rolling fairways, massive bunkers, cathedral-like pines and water-fronted greens, exudes a stately, Augusta-like quality. SHERLING (9 HOLES): The Sherling nine starts at the highest point in Butler county and drops to play along Sherling Lake before culminating with a dramatic climb on the final hole.

This truly is a hidden gem on the RTJ Golf Trail. I have been meaning to play RTJ Cambrian ridge for while. Today I got to play all 27 holes and I could not have been more impressed with the entire golf experience. It is so quiet and breathtakingly beautiful out on this property. The greens were so soft and yet rolled quite fast and very true. There were some large greens with big undulations that tested my average at best putting on this day!!! It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think the Sherling 9 offered up the most scenic views and is played along a beautiful lake. This is a great course and it is located halfway between Mobile and Pratteville, which have two spots on the RTJ Trail. Two Thumbs up!!!
