Details

Quintero is an experience. It is a challenging and scenic desert course measuring 7,208 yards from the championship tees. This Rees Jones course is certain to test any golfer with a little water, well placed bunkers, and plenty of elevation changes.

Quintero is a semi-private course, often described as the "Purest Golf Experience" in Arizona. This is due in part to the location being well removed from the city, along with the well designed layout and authentic desert landscape.

Recent accolades include:

#3 - Desert Golf Magazine’s 2005 Top 10 Private Courses

#10 - Golfweek’s 2006 100 Best Residential Golf Communities

#48 - Golfweek’s 2006 100 Best Modern Courses

GolfTroop Review

Quintero easily makes the 5-star rating for me. Based only on the golf experience, this is my favorite Arizona course. There is not much of a clubhouse, although I believe they have big plans some day. While the total package is lacking, the course itself is amazing, and offers three of the most scenic and elevated par 3 holes in the area. There are very few houses, and just a serene and quiet desert landscape as far as you can see. The downside is the long drive, but for those who can hack it, this is a must-play.
